Glory Hole Self-Build Kits Available
(product number refers to diameter, in inches, of largest openning)
- Features include:
- Sizes available are 15"/16", 18", 21" and 24".
- Sizes greater than 16" have two burners
- Center height is adjustable from 34" to 36"
- Lining is from 2.5" to 3" insulating fire brick, thickness depending on I.D.
- Brick lining is backed by 2" of ceramic fiber.
- Refractory heat retaining ring is removable so it can be recast as necessary.
- We use Spiral Arts', ceramic flame retention burner nozzles. These nozzles are the quietest we know of, and they are included in the price of the glory hole.

Options:
- Gas booster pedal for on/off reduction atmosphere.
- Burner(s) on right is standard (left is available).
- Assistant's extendable sidearm yoke/pipe rack amkes it easy for more than one person to reheat. Also helps to keep punties or bits warm near the glory hole.
- Wooden molds are available for recasting doors and fire ring.
- Flame safety is available on all models.

- Casters make moving easy.
- Sizes 27", 30", and 33" are available on special request. They come with the largest doors sliding. This feature helps keep glassblowers from having to contend with heat from the back side of doors and the hole itself all at once.
