Understanding your Glory Hole Combustion & Safety

This illustration should give you an idea of what we do to insure your safety while providing efficient and optimal combustion in your GH. Please see the description of each of these components below.

[A] Regulator ($95.00-$150.00) maintains stable gas pressure over full range of required gas flow.
[B] Zero-governor (see below) maintains proportional gas flow to the corresponding, desired air
pressure. Optional [D] reduction pedal system ($300.00) uses [C] solenoid to boost gas flow
around [E] gas/air mixture creating a gas rich mixture and flame that reduces certain color glass.
Premix systems are noted for their ability to mix gas and air very intimately so that the flame is a very hot
one that burns quickly and efficiently. [F] Eclipse Combustion’s low pressure proportional mixer (see
below), when used with a zero governor, maintains a user-defined gas-air ratio throughout the operational range. This means that to adjust the flame from high to low, the user needs only to adjust the [O] butterfly valve setting, and the gas will be adjusted automatically. The result is a savings in fuel and time. We use these proportional mixers primarily on glory holes, although they may also be used on furnaces.

[G] Flame monitoring unit ($512.00) continually checks the [H] U.V. Scanner ($150.00) for a flame.

[I] Control Panel

[J] Spiral Arts Glory Hole Burners Widely acclaimed for their excellent flame stability and quiet peration, these round burners are easy to install and exceptionally durable.

[K] DMV-DLE

[L] Air pressure switch. ($76.00)
